School at Home

We've been working on a few school projects at home because all of the schools are closed and the subjects that we do every include math, reading, typing, language (French), Bible, P.E, Sportsmanship and communications. For math we visit a site called https://www.khanacademy.org/, for language we visit https://www.duolingo.com/ and for typing we go to https://www.typingclub.com/login.html.
Reading is pretty simple. We just read for 30 minutes. Sportsmanship is when we pull out a board game to play and we work on practicing our sportsmanship with each other, and for communications we find a way, any way to talk to someone. That could include a phone call, writing a letter, blogging, or e-mail. We do this for 30 minutes because everyone is either not allowed out of their house or they are trying to isolate themselves. For Bible we gather our family together and we have a family Bible reading. We got baby lambs a while ago and the coyotes will take them whenever they have the chance but our sheep need to eat, and it just happens to be that the only place where they can eat is in the back pasture where the coyotes will attack. We use this for P.E because we have to have someone watching them so that we can scare off any coyotes coming near.  We haven't lostany lambs this year. It gives us some fresh air and a break from doing school work. I don't have any pictures for this blog but I'll get some for my next post.

  1. Happy you're keeping busy and keeping coyotes away, but we sure do miss you all. Keep safe ... Grandma
